Marcus Haslam is a photographer from the south of England who has retraced his roots in the north to make pictures of his hometown. Blackpool has changed a lot over the years and you’ll hear about his motivation to make the project, what he found and what he’s doing with the images now that he has them. It was wonderful to catch up with a friend and former colleague.

A camera is just a tool but spend enough time with photographers and you’ll see them go misty eyed when they talk about their first camera or a small fast prime that they had in their youth.
